How the project started
RatePresso was founded in July 2026. We felt it was a shame that cafés – the places themselves – are often the only thing that gets rated, while the coffee drinks are left out.
With RatePresso you can now rate the drinks themselves: at home, in a restaurant or in a café. The project is meant to give coffee lovers a way to share and find information. In the app you can filter specifically for cafés with organic beans, vegan milk, their own roast or an espresso machine.
You can also find out where the best-rated espresso is served or where you can get a cortado or other specialty coffees nearby. Or you can simply use the app as a coffee diary. We regularly enjoy looking back at our old reviews and reliving the memories connected to the coffee.
We are happy about everyone who joins in and enjoys pictures of full coffee cups.
